Raena | Professional Pet Groomer

From as early as Raena can remember, animals have always been a part of her life.

Growing up with dogs, cats, rabbits, and many other small animals, she developed a deep love for them and truly enjoys every moment spent in their company. Living and working alongside animals has always been her childhood dream.

In 2019, Raena began her professional journey as a Groomer Assistant.

Her role focused on assisting groomers in ensuring smooth grooming procedures, while receiving structured professional training and close guidance from experienced instructors, building a strong foundation in pet grooming.

In 2022, Raena obtained her SKC C-Level Technical Certificate.

In the same year, she become Pet Groomer, where she started independently handling grooming and styling for pets.

Driven by her desire to constantly improve and refine her skills, Raena achieved her SKC B-Level Technical Certificate in 2023.

In 2025, she participated in the AGPAS Grooming Competition and was awarded Second Place, marking another milestone in her professional growth.

Raena believes that being a pet groomer goes far beyond creating beautiful and neat styles.

It is equally important to understand the owner’s needs, assess the pet’s health condition, care for their emotional well-being, and keep owners updated on their pet’s status throughout the grooming process.

Safety always comes first.

Understanding owners’ concerns and prioritising the pet’s safety at all times is a fundamental responsibility every professional pet groomer should uphold.

Raena strongly believes that a pet groomer should never stop learning.

Continuous improvement and skill development are essential in order to provide better, safer, and more reliable services to both pets and their owners.
